"Mr David Cassidy was a valued member of the AITF. He had a great and captivating sense of humour. He was an active member on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland for 11 years and assisted in all aspects of Taekwon-Do on the Coast. In addition to his contribution on the Gold Coast (especially as a power breaking coach) he also assisted with coaching in World Championship teams.

We all witnessed the brave battle he waged against cancer. Even in the last stages of his battle he did not lose his sense of humour, and showed wonderful courage until the end.

"He has been on the Coast for about 11 years; Both he and his Wife, Jacki, are Black Belts. He was to grade to forth Dan last year, together with me.
He was assistant coach for 2003 and 2007 World Champs.

David was fighting this battle for about 3 years, and up till last Sunday, was still cracking jokes and being the clown.
